She was predeceased by: her parents, Shotaro Sasaki and Chiyo Koga Sasaki; her husband Alfred Hoffsommer of Ridley Park; her stepson Bruce A. Hoffsommer (Helene); her siblings, Toyoko Deshimaru and Satoshi Sasaki; and her brother-in-law Kay P. Hoffsommer.
She is survived by: her nieces, Yuko Onoe and Seiko Kado; her stepsons, Alan F. Hoffsommer (Judith) and Conrad W. Hoffsommer; and her sister-in-law Joyce Poole. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; also, her dear friends.
