Michael J. Tokash Obituary
Michael J. Tokash, 68, of Ridley Park, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 14, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Kathryn with whom he shared over 30 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of John J. and Josephine (Notte) Tokash.
Michael indeed touched the lives of everyone he met in a positive way. He was known for his warm smile, generous heart, and unwavering support for those around him. He had a kindness that knew no bounds, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear. He was liked by everyone and loved by many, leaving a legacy of compassion that will be remembered by all who knew him.
Michael was a devoted father to seven children and a cherished grandfather to seventeen grandchildren. His family was his pride and joy, and he dedicated his life to ensuring their happiness and well-being. His home was always filled with laughter and love especially during the holidays which were a favorite time of each year for him.
An avid hunter and fisherman Michael found peace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. Whether casting a line at the lake, sharing stories by the water, or enjoying the thrill of a hunt, he cherished these moments of tranquility and connection with nature.
Occasionally cutting the rug and enjoying a party or celebration while dancing; his smooth moves on the dance floor brought another level of smiles to those around him.
Michael brought his radiology sales and service expertise and passion to successfully run his own company.
Michael is survived by his wife Kathryn, seven children Raymond A. Lanci (Erin), Michael P. Lanci (Christina), Kimberly M. Tokash, Joseph J. Lanci (Meghan), Michael A. Tokash (Charlotte), Veronica L. Gamble, Adam C. Tokash (Fiancé Nichole), and seventeen grandchildren, who will carry forward his legacy of love and kindness. Though he is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
