With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Ellan Pitts (Ridley Park, Pennsylvania), born in Donaldsonville, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph M. Goldsborough and Anne T. Goldsborough; and her siblings, Nancy M. Campbell, Joseph A. Goldsborough, Robert F. Goldsborough and Michael J. Goldsborough.

She is survived by: her husband Mark A. Pitts; her children, Joseph R. Pitts and Meghan A. Pitts (Jonathan M. Park); her sister-in-law Cheryl Goldsborough; and her goddaughters, Jeanne Marie Schwarzmann, Annie Walls and Kateland Gardsborough. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
