She was predeceased by: her siblings, Dorothy Fauls (John) and John "Jack" Friedhofer Jr.; and her former husband James Jacobi. She is survived by: her husband Bud Sokalczuk; her daughters, Dr. Linda Ann Acker (Elliot) and Christina Schneider (Josh); her siblings, Kathy Tubbs (Wayne) and Sandy Beaton (Scott); and her sister-in-law Lynn Friedhofer.
