He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward F. Dodds and Esther Casey Dodds; and his siblings, Sandra Weaver, Edward Dodds, Jr., Patricia Vitelli, Sal Round, Donald Dodds and William Dodds.
He is survived by: his friend Bill W.; his wife Sue Edelblute Dodds; his children, Larry V. Dodds, Jr. (Marie) and Stacy Dodds Morris (John); and his siblings, John Dodds, Babs Agnew, Joe Dodds and Tom Dodd. He is also survived by his six grandchildren.
