She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Johnston and Jean Johnston; and her husband Norman A. Pinkstone. She is survived by: her pets, Marmaduke and Puggy; her sons, Stephen (Lynn Laut) and Eric (Felicia); her grandchildren, Nancy Kordalski (Edward), Joseph Kordalski (Ciara), Alicia (Kordalski) and Potter (Chadley); her great grandchildren, Adelaide, Charlotte and Theodore Potter; and her sister-in-law Carole Pinkstone. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Joan's memory to Aldan Union Church or the Providence Animal Center in Upper Providence, PA.
