Frederick E. Hammet Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frederick E. Hammet Jr. of Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Emrick and Aida Frances Cooper Hammet; his wives, Evelyn E. Cooney Hammet and Janet McDonough Hammet; and his sister Elaine McCaffrey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Evelyn Hammet, Cynthia Lindsay (Ed) and Judith Hammet-Kelly (Chris); his stepchildren, James Cooper, Margaret A. Yannuzzi, William H. Cooper II and Thomas A. Cooper; his brother Lamar Hammet (Evelyn); and his grandchildren, Christina (Joe), Ryan (Alyssa), Michael (Kristina), Megan (Andrew), Kevin and Rachel. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home (311 N Swarthmore Ave, Ridley Park, PA 19078). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts to any disabled veterans organization, or animal rescue organization such as Cat Angel Network https://catangel.org would be appreciated.
