He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard and Mildred Reynolds Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Nancy G. Grant Pierce; his children, Edward C. Pierce (Betty Ann), Jean Ross (Rick), Sandy L. Pierce and David J. Pierce (Kristin); and his grandchildren, Christie (Bryan), Jaime (Richard), Edward (Ida), Daniel (Rachel), Isaak (Erin), Mark and Trent. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
