He is survived by: his wife Mary C. Hance Maurone; his children, Michael Maurone, Marianne Maurone (Robert Jackle), Theresa Essen and Charles Maurone (Kelley Cahill); his grandsons, Matt and Tom; his great grandchild Otis Brooks; his brothers, Angelo Maurone (Nancy) and Philip Maurone (Josephine); and also, CJ Brooks (Kate), Samantha, Connor Jackle, Allie Essen, Lindsay and Tori Maurone. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
