He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Gausman and Elizabeth Proesl Gausman; and his siblings, Marian Gausman, Grace Gausman, Edna Gausman of Sister Judith, SSJ, Jeanne Gausman, Helen Zawacki (Bill), Howard, Daniel, Gerard and Robert Gausman.

He is survived by: his brothers, Thomas Gausman of St. Marys and James Gausman (Rae) of Ridgway. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Leo Catholic School, 125 Depot St., Ridgway, PA or the Ridgway Fire Department.
