He is survived by: his wife Jean Mercer of Ridgway; his children, Richard C. Mercer III of Ridgway, Debra Boulet (Sylvain) of Cocoa Beach, FL, Robert Mercer (Jennifer) of Ridgway, Darlene Beaver (Sam) of Ridgway and Donald Mercer (Barbara) of Hollidaysburg, PA; his grandchildren, Michael, Dany, Sammatha, Dodie, Jack, Holly, Hannah, Sadie, Branden, Jacob and Jillian; his great grandchildren, Sagan, Calvin, Riley, Conner, Parker, Paisley and Cash; and his siblings, Muriel Eckert of Truman, PA, Fred Mercer of Corry, PA and John Mercer of Ridgway. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
