She was predeceased by: her parents, B. J. Wilhelm and Genevieve Geitner Wilhelm. She is survived by: her husband Kermit Sandberg of Ridgway; her children, Linda Doherty (Gerry) of Ohio, Sherry Sandberg of Ridgway and Dennis Sandberg (Christine) of Wilcox; her grandsons, Patrick Doherty and Timothy Doherty (Missy); and her great grandchildren, Rylee and Caden. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
