He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McDonough and Helen Kelly McDonough. He is survived by: his wife Sally Merkel; his children, Jennifer Fischer, Patrick McDonough (Heidi), Timothy McDonough (Emily) and Christopher McDonough (Tiffanie) of Woodbridge, VA; his granddaughter Danielle DePietro; his children, Colin, Carter, Elliott, Graceyn, Declan McDonough and Natalie Fischer; and his sisters, Margie Haggerty (John), Kathleen Fennie and Ann Cwikla. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
