He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. Long and Jennie Long (Hoffert); and his brother Robert "Budd" Long. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Long (Skibo); his daughters, Yvonne Rogers (David) of Bristow, VA and Jennifer Long of Easton, MD; his sister Karen Bainhauer; and his pet Gibby. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
