He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Pruchnic and Grace Pruchnic (Ramsey); and his son Christian. He is survived by: his wife Carol A. (Urbas); his son Dr. Timothy F. Pruchnic; and his brothers, Stanley Jr. (Mary Lou), Donald, Allen "Butch" (Nancy) and Dr. Albert (Sharon).

In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to St. Jude's Research Center or American Diabetes Association in memory of Bill Pruchnic.
