He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hickey and Helen Hickey (Burke); and his brother Robert "Jim" Hickey. He is survived by: his wife Lorelei "Lorri" Hickey (Rolish); his daughters, Kirsten Hickey (Ralph Bretz) and Erin Malzi; his grandchildren, Ethan and Cassidy Malzi; his son-in-law Ron Malzi; his sister-in-law Margaret Ciupak; and his niece Vicki Davidyock.
