He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Carney and Cora Carney (Harrison); and his siblings, Virginia, Arawana and Darrell.

He is survived by: his wife Rosalie E. (Graybill); his children, Jeff Carney, Kimberly Dishong (John) and Sandy Natta (Barry); his grandchildren, Justine, Stephanie, Kristy, Lauren and Aleah; his great grandchildren, Noah, Riley, Logan and Mason; his brother Emerson; and his sister-in-law Connie.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Lee to Windber Hospice.
