Sheldon Thomas Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sheldon Thomas (Richland, Pennsylvania), born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 16, 2023 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob M. Thomas and Lucy L. Thomas (Fender); his wife Jean Thomas (Schmidt); and his granddaughter-in-law Connie Fazekas. He is survived by: his daughters, Eleanor Mae (James Krug) and Nancy (Bernard Dixon); his grandchildren, Robert (Cherry Cameron), Joseph Krug (Tracey Krystal), Thomas Krug (Becky Johnson), Karen Wanamaker (Duane), Aaron Thomas and Marcie Kovalsky (Patrick); his stepgranddaughters, Cindy Criswell (Ronald) and Karen Mennig (Eric); his great grandchildren, Anna, Laura Wanamaker, Dante and Areli Krug; and his stepgrandchildren, Spencer and Jillian Kovalsky. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Laurel View Caring Fund in memory of Sheldon Thomas.
