He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schmidt and Esther Schmidt (Havener); his wife Bernice Schmidt (Page); and his son Barry. He is survived by: his sons, Bruce (Karen Fitzpatrick), Somerset, Bill (Terrie Teeter) and Brent (Courtney Buchan); his daughter-in-law Karen (Harclerode); his sibling Shirley (Nevin Thomas); and also Johnstown. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
