It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas Smith of Richland, Pennsylvania, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 7, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smith and Frances Smith (Matula). He is survived by: his wife Mercedes M. Smith (Stager); his children, Diann Smith (Bob), Nicholas Smith (Sue), Eugene Smith (Pam), Cathy Hillberry (Brian) and Pamela Keeley (Troy); his grandchildren, Keith, Justin, Jeremy Hillberry, Jennifer, Robby Smith, Scott Smith, Jenae Ewaleifoh, Josh and Hannah Keeley; his great grandchildren, Oscar, Millie Hillberry, Holden, Leo Hillberry, Nora Keeley and Omonodaghe Ewaleifoh; and his siblings, Frank, Bernard, Daniel Smith, Veronica Deet and Christine Krope. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
