He is survived by: his wife Frances Hunkele Burkhart; his children, Paula Heinricher (Mike), Kevin Burkhart (Annie) and Cindy Weaver (Sean); his siblings, James Burkhart (Kathy) and Susan Graif (Joe); and his grandchildren, Ava, Kate, Ben, Chena, Denali, Sedona and McKinley.
