He is survived by: his wife Donna R. (Wingard); and his children, Melvin R. Jr. (Beth), Donald (Kim), Patricia Marcus (Kenneth), Karen Brandle (Cris) and Linda Gleason. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
