He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Patterson and Margaret I. "Peg" Patterson (Galloway); his aunt Bev; his parents-in-law, Clyde and Marie Gallardy; and his brother-in-law Clyde W. Gallardy.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Patterson (Gallardy); his daughters, Hollie (C. J. Sinar) and Melinda Patterson; his grandsons, Cade and Owen; his siblings-in-law, Donna, Gary Gramling, Peter, Jeannie Gallardy, Maryanne, William Connell, Cindy, Kenneth Hanover and Margie Gallardy; his son Max; and his pet Dobby. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, countless friends.
