She was predeceased by: her parents, William V. Carliss and Evelyn L. Carliss (Bartlett). She is survived by: her husband John McMahan; her son Sean W. Carliss (Kelsey J. McCabe); her stepsons, Evan L. McMahan of Atlanta, GA and Eric W. McMahan of Culpeper, VA; her grandchildren, Brooks W. Carliss and Cole A. Carliss of Clayton, NC; her brother William J. Carliss (Kathleen A. DeBonis); and her nieces, Madelyn A. Carliss and Sophia E. Carliss of Frederick, MD.
