He was predeceased by: his siblings, Rupert, Calvin, George, Dean and Ardythe Williams; and his grandson Adam.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Hughes (Adams); his children, Richard Hughes (Melodee) of Valrico, Edward Hughes of State College, Karen Lowe (Michael) of Grand Haven and James Hughes (Amy) of Princeton, Illinois; and his brother Richard of Pharr, Texas.. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
