Welsh; his spouse Dana Welsh (Heagy); his daughters, Rebecca (Gary Feth) and Colleen Welsh; his grandchild Alexis Feth; and his siblings, Connie, David (Bonnie), Janet, Regis (Janice), Jill and Faye Welsh. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
