He was predeceased by: his siblings, William Malzi, Geraldine "Gerry" McDonough, Leo Malzi, Barbara Turner and Janet Cummings.

He is survived by: his children, Mark Malzi (Laura), Kent Malzi (Laurie), Michele Baker (Brad) and James Malzi (JoAnne); his grandchildren, Lindsey McKendree (Brian), Kent Malzi (Danielle), James R. Malzi, Dallas Malzi (Nikki), Dereck Malzi (Lindsay), Shelby Baker and Brady Baker; his great grandchild Connor Malzi; and his brothers, John Stohon (Naomi) and Chris Stohon (Bobbe). He is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.
