He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Oleksa and Suzanna Oleksa (Gera); his wife Catherine "Kitty" (Husla); his siblings, Michael, John, Steve, Paul Oleksa, Irene Harr, Sue Barczak, Anna Zapotechne and Mary Sokach; and his siblings-in-law, Ken Harr, Leo Barczak, Edward Zapotechne, Michael Sokach and Miriam Oleksa.
He is survived by: his sons, George M. Oleksa (Robin), Gary S. Oleksa (Nancy), David A. and Kevin J. Oleksa (Chris); his brother Rudy Oleksa (Carol) of Lancaster, PA; his sister-in-law Helen Oleksa of Brownstown; and his grandchildren, Tracy Nardecchia (Wayne), Melinda Perez (Carlos), Brian Oleksa (Kim), Anthony Oleksa, Nick Oleksa (Jen) and Michael Oleksa. He is also survived by Many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
