He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rufus Phillipy and Emma Frantz Phillipy; his wife Fern B. Phillipy (Edris); his children, JoAnn Arnold (Barry), Sandra Strause (Joseph) and Frederick Phillipy (Robert Kepner); his siblings, Peter Phillipy, Fern Hitz and Orpha Schoener; his daughter Barbara Adams (Leonard); and his sisters, Leah Ziegler and Dorothy Phillipy. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
