It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarence Lee Umberger of Richland, Pennsylvania, born in Myerstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 25, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Jacob and Verna Umberger (Kurtz); and his siblings, Norman, Carl, Marlin, Eugene, Wayne Umberger and Betty Boyer.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Anne Umberger (Wolfe); his children, Sheila Evans of Richland, PA, Keith Umberger (Wendi) of Myerstown, PA and Greg Umberger (Michele) of Schaefferstown, PA; his siblings, Ken Umberger (Carolyn) of Womelsdorf, PA, Marian Brandt of Lebanon, PA, Arlene Miller of Lebanon, PA and Shirley (Bill Godlevski) of Lebanon, PA; and his grandchildren, Colt Umberger (Samantha), Daphne, Gavin Krause, Cassandra Preis and Kayla Hurd. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Myerstown Christian Fellowship (59 N Ramona Rd, Myerstown, PA 17067). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Myerstown Christian Fellowship, at the above stated address.
