He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Thawley and Rosemary Thawley (Houghton); his grandchildren, Abigail and Aaron Thawley; and his sister Mary Elizabeth Thawley.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Thawley (Durkin); his children, A. Robert Thawley (Mandy Maneval) of Richfield, Anne-Maureen Thawley Heister (D. Robert Heister) of Cocolamus, Kevin James Thawley (Maura) of Port Royal and Joan Rosellen Thawley Metallo of Enola; his grandchildren, Ivan Thawley, Nicholas Heister (Savannah), Jared Heister (Hannah), Albert Heister, Daniel, Breeanna, Alexandria, Emmett, Madelyn and Miranda Metallo; and his great grandchildren, Theodore Heister, Lyra Edmiston and Baelynn Heister.
