He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Dunphy and Edna Graff Dunphy; and his brother Nicholas. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Wolen Dunphy; his children, David Dunphy of Chestnut Hill, Victoria Satterfield (Dale) of Doylestown, Jennifer Dunphy of Perkasie and Nancy Dunphy (Cliff) of Lansdale; his brother Jay Dunphy (Marcia); his sister-in-law Norma; and his grandchildren, Doug, Jack, Joe, Nick, Blake, Jamieson, Nicolette, Kaitlyn, Maddy, GiGi, Lily and Sean.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Roman Catholic High School, 301 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
