He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilde Wick and John Wick; and his brother Skip Kiesel. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kate" Kiesel; his son Peter McFarland; his uncle Robert Michel; his aunt Anne Michel; his sister Donna Scoleri; and his cousins, Dave, Christine, Faith and Shane.
