He was predeceased by: his parents, James V. LaVecchia and Theresa Volpe LaVecchia. He is survived by: his wife Joyce A. Hickman LaVecchia; his children, Salvatore J. LaVecchia II (Elizabeth) of Trevose and Maria E. Heffernan (Ed) of Levittown; and his grandchildren, Ashley A., Sophia A., Salvatore J. LaVecchia III, Domonic E., Elaina R. and Jason E. Heffernan.
