He was predeceased by: his wife Joan C. Webster Weiss; his parents, Joseph Weiss and Ann Hudak Weiss; and his children-in-law, Mark F. Patterson and Dawn Weiss.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara J. Patterson of Newtown, PA, Buddy Weiss (Aggie) of Hatfield, PA, Joseph T. Weiss and Jeffrey D. Weiss of Philadelphia, PA.; his grandchildren, Lauren, Allison, Julie, Alyssa, Kevin and Robert; his great grandchildren, Mason, Matthew, Howie, Nathan, Cassidy and Makenna; and his brother Richard Weiss (Mary Beth Kigar).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where he generously donated throughout the decades.
