He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Schmitt and Edythe Leffring Schmitt. He is survived by : his daughters, Jaclyn Marie von Hohen (Stephen) of Upper Makefield and Stacey Lynn Zelmanoff (Dan) of Philadelphia; his granddaughters, Anna von Hohen and Mia Zelmanoff; his wife Patricia Linda O'Neal Schmitt; and his siblings, Charles, Michael, & Robert Schmitt and Edie Hicks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Riverstone Church in Yardley, PA or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
