He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Chernick and Norma Chernick (Wiener); and his brother-in-law Frank Weisz. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Ann Chernick (Lewandowski); his sons, Kenneth Rich, Nicholas A. Chernick and Daniel S. Chernick; his siblings, Julian Chernick (Patricia) and Irene Weisz; and his cousin Nina King (David). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
