In the sacred silence of farewell, Kathryn is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Kathryn's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She is survived by: her parents, George Marcinkowski and Patricia Marcinkowski (Hogan); her husband Michael Howes; her children, Chloe, Elena and Elfia; and her siblings, Tim (Emily) and Joanne (Greg). She is also survived by her 2 nephews, and many other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to HomeFront NJ, a charity to which the Howes family has been close to for several years; Gift of Life, who helped ensure that Katey's tragic passing became a moment of hope for others; or The Katey Howes Fund at the Highlights Foundation scholarship, which will use this to endeavor to help support authors trying to bring their voice into the world to have the opportunity to do so.
