Lucille D. Sova Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille D. Sova of Rices Landing, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 10, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Spivey and Martha Spivey (Shields); and her husband Donald R. Sova. She is survived by: her children, Franklin G. Darroch of Durham, N. C., Charles W. Darroch (Bonnie) of Carmichaels, James E. Darroch (Kay) of Newport News and Donna J. Shaffer (John) of Miami, Fla.; her stepchildren, Donald J. Sova (Louise) of Waynesburg, Ronald R. Sova (Lisa Smith) of Reedsville, W. Va, Gregory P. Sova (Tracy) of Masontown, Shawn E. Sova (Lisa) of Washington, Valorie L. Matthews of Dunn, N. C. and Suzanne M. Baker (Dea) of Carmichaels; and her brother Lester Spivey of North Carolina. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Yoskovich Funeral Home (300 S Vine St, Carmichaels, PA 15320). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at the Greene County Memorial Park (1003 Jefferson Rd, Waynesburg, PA 15370).
