He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Armagost and Victornie Armagost (Terinski); his spouse Mary Ann Armagost (McDonald); his son Joseph Armagost; his grandson Christopher Armagost; and his siblings, Edward Armagost, Jack Armagost, Betty Mumford, Ileana McGary, Mary King and Martha Mennitti.
He is survived by: his children, John R. Armagost (Rita) of Punxsutawney, William H. Armagost of Reynoldsville and Christine A. Weaver of Reynoldsville; his siblings, Joseph Armagost (Alice) of Plattsburg, N. Y. and Ellen Deihl of Reynoldsville; his granddaughter Susie Peterman; and his great grandchildren, Shawna and Jeremiah.
