He was predeceased by: his siblings, Glenn, Jim, Tom, Jack Hiles, Pearl Hiles, Helen Smith, Violet Morran, Aldine Barr and Edith Harriger.
He is survived by: his spouse Jean L. Hiles (Mauk). He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews who he treated like his own children.
