She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lindy and Ida Lindy (Brocious); her son William Garthwaite Jr.; her daughter-in-law Bonnie Garthwaite (Nelson); her siblings, William Lindy, Harry Lindy (Doris), Betty Smee (Donald) and June Palmer (Donald); and her niece Carol Wilt.
She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Garthwaite; her children, Ronald Garthwaite (Denise) and Judy Reiter; and her brother James Lindy (Jean). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
