She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Carnes and Louise Mae Carnes (Bogen); her husband Rodney M. Joyner; and her siblings, Jesse Carnes, Betty Wineberg, Cora Brockway, William Carnes and Robert Carnes.
She is survived by: her children, George M. Joyner (Jodie), Waneta L. Joyner and Dawn M. Corso (Frank); and her sisters, Elvina Reddick and Margaret Johnson. She is also survived by five granddaughters; and two grandsons.
