He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair W. Stahlman and Nellie M. Stahlman (Yeany); his siblings, Edgar Clair Stahlman, William Lloyd Stahlman and Nellie Diane Rafferty; and his nephew William Joseph DeChurch.

He is survived by: his sisters, Doris M. Makufka and Joyce L. Marsh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Reynoldsville Lutheran Church, or to the Shannondale – Union Cemetery Association.
