He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl E. Pifer and Florence A. Pifer (Cramer); and his brothers, Albert and Jesse Pifer. He is survived by: his wife Naomi Shepler; his son Keith E. Pifer of Reynoldsville, PA; and his sisters, Martha Jones of Big Run, PA and Cleda Gaynelle Kerr (Loyle) of Punxsutawney, PA..
