He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Lee and Pearl Shepler (Reed); and his siblings, Lee, Melvin Shepler and Helen Shepler.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ray Shepler (Loretta) of Reynoldsville, Lyle Shepler (Donna) of Montgomery, Ala, Marge Miller of Detroit and Fran Barksdale (Larry Barksdale) of Raleigh. He is also survived by fourteen nieces and nephews.
