He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bechtel and Estelle Bechtel (Minns); and his brother Robert Bechtel. He is survived by: his spouse Fredlyn "Freddi" Langham; his son Michael Bechtel (Elizabeth Scott) of Monroeville, PA; and his brother Thomas Bechtel of Huntsville, AL. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
