It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Stephen Dirda of Republic, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 21, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dirda and Ann Dirda; his siblings, Betty, Anna Mae, Charlotte and Michael; and his sister-in-law Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, MaryBeth Houlahan (Jeff), Robert (Michelle) and Kathy Gulla (Matt); his siblings, John, Paul (Rose) and Thomas (Mary); and his siblings-in-law, Michael Skovran (late Phyllis) and Rose Marie Rupnik (Paul).
