He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest S. Schimmel and Dolores B. Schimmel (Parsons). He is survived by: his wife Roileen (Schimonsky); his son Brett S. Schimmel of Republic, PA; his brother Kurt V. Schimmel (Kathy) of Linn Creek; his niece Kaitlyn Schimmel; and his nephews, Justin Schimmel and Michael Bowles.
