She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth E. Brooks; her parents, Leo Atto and Mary Bowser (Smith); her son Eugene Brooks; and her brothers, Clifford, Leo Atto Jr. and Lester Bowser.
She is survived by: her close friend Mary Fleisher; her daughter Edwina "Winnie" Brooks (George Mayes) of Renovo; and her sister-in-law Rosetta Bowser of New Bethlehem. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
